To emphasize the strategic role of higher education and reserach institutions, especially to empower human resources who are competent in application and advancement of science and technology nationally, while being able to build and maintain network internationally, the Electrical Engineering Department University of Brawijaya, in collaboration with Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering-Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organizes EECCIS 2014. This International event is being held in conjunction with the 1st Joint Conference of UB-UTHM, aimed as an anual event formed from a fruitfull collaboration between Brawijaya University (UB) and University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM).
Following the six previous succesfull seminars EECCIS 2000, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012, the objective of EECCIS 2014 is to provide opportunities for researchers, scientists, engineers and vendors working in the area of electrical power, electronics, telecommunication, control and information to exchange their ideas and also to present and discuss latest results and future directions of research and applications. This year’s seminar is held in conjunction with the 1st Joint Conference of UB-UTHM, which provides sharing idea forum among researchers of both neighboring countries.
Topics covered in the EECCIS 2014 are:
- Electrical power
- Control System
- Information System
- Educational Issues in Electrical Engineering
Any other topics related to recent development in electrical engineering are always welcome and appreciated. All presentation will be held in English (for International Session) or Indonesian (for National Session). The articels accepted for presentation will be published in the EECCIS 2014 Proceedings (The International Session Proceeding has been submitted to IEEE for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore digital library). Articles in the seminar proceeding will also be invited for re-submission to National (Indonesian) Journal as well as International Journals after additional up to 30% materials.
